Eckert Lorenzen has served as Concertmaster of the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion – the resident orchestra of the Israeli Opera – for over 25 years. Previously, he served as Concertmaster of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra in Turin, Italy, the Arturo Toscanini Orchestra in Parma, Italy (under Lorin Maazel), the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, and the Israel Chamber Orchestra. He was also a member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under Herbert von Karajan, and took part in numerous concerts and recordings.
Mr. Lorenzen was a prize winner in several international competitions such as the Paganini Competition, Genoa and the Spohr Competition, Freiburg; together with his wife, pianist Batia Steinbock Lorenzen he won prizes in chamber music competitions such as the Gui Competition, Florence, and the Trapani Competition, Sicily. The violin and piano duo gained much success worldwide, including several recordings for European radio stations.
As a soloist, Mr. Lorenzen collaborated with prominent musicians and ensembles, among others, lociano Pavarotti, Shlomo Mintz, Yuval Yaron, Asher Fisch, the Sharon Ensemble …,umberto michelangeli,luciano berio,h.sodant e others….
Mr. Lorenzen studied with sandor veg,(veg quartet),leon shpirer, rainer kussmauel e r.ricci.
Recently, Mr. Lorenzen has been collaborating with Maestro Daniel Oren as soloist ad Concertmaster, and has appeared with him worldwide.
DUO LORENZEN – duetas gyvenime ir scenoje. Eckartas Lorenzenas – Izraelio operos simfoninio orkestro Rishon LeZion pirmasis smuikas – dirbo koncertmeisteriu Turino RAI nacionalinio simfoninio, Arturo Toskanini orkestro Parmoje, Junge Deutsche filharmonijos ir Izraelio kamerinio orkestrų koncertmeisteriu. Griežė pirmuoju smuiku Berlyno filharmonijos orkestre kuomet jam vadovavo maestro Herbertas von Karajanas. Solistas laimėjo prizus prestižiniuose konkursuose – Paganini Genujoje, Sophr – Freibergo mieste. Bendrdarbiavo su pripažintais pasaulyje kolektyvais ir atlikėjais – Luciano Pavarotti, Shlomo Mintz, Umberto Michelangeli, Luciano Berio. Pastaruoju metu E. Lorenzenas kaip solistas ir koncertmeisteris gastroliuoja su maestro Danieliu Orenu.
Įkūrę fortepijono ir smuiko duetą DUO LORENZEN atlikėjai tęsia tarptautinę karjerą. Duetas laimi pagrindinius prizus tarptautiniuose konkursuose – Gui (Florencija), Trapani (Sicilija), o vienas iš svarbiausių – Italijoje laimėtas pagrindinis spaudos prizas už Brahmso, Debussy ir Beethoveno sonatų atlikimą. Duetas nuolatos koncertuoja „Virtuosi Festival“ (JAV), Šlerno (Italija), V. Gergievo Izraelyje organizuojamame „Raudonosios jūros“ festivaliuose.
